How it works

Liquidity Providing

Your capital helps other users swap assets — and you earn a share of the trading fees.

Picture a DeFi pool as an automatic exchange. It holds two assets, say SOL and USDC. When people swap one asset for the other, they pay a small fee. Part of that fee goes to those who provided capital to the pool.

Smart DeFi takes on the hard part: it helps you choose a vetted pool, open a position, watch its state, and understand where your funds are, how much you’ve earned and what risks you’re taking.

  • Capital is deployed according to the DeFi strategy you choose
  • Yield comes from the fees on swaps inside the pool
  • You see the position’s value, yield and risks in one interface
  • The platform helps you track the position and react to changes in time
For those who want more detail

Under the hood it uses concentrated liquidity. That means capital works not across the entire price range, but within a chosen price range — for example, while SOL trades between certain levels against USDC.

While the price stays inside the range, the position takes part in swaps and earns fees. If the price leaves the range, the position stops earning new fees until the price comes back. Along the way its composition shifts entirely toward one of the assets: as the price moves, the position gradually converts from one asset into the other, and beyond the range it consists of just one of them. When the price returns to the range, the position takes part in swaps again and starts earning fees.

Key risks
  • Asset price movement
  • Price leaving the range
  • Smart-contract risk
  • Liquidity-pool risk

With Smart DeFi these parameters are available to you at any moment, and you can always rebalance the risk yourself.

Your funds — under your control

Transparency and security

Your funds never land in a shared platform account. A separate on-chain wallet is created for you — on Solana, Ethereum or Base — and every deposit arrives directly at your address.

When you run a strategy, the actions happen through on-chain transactions: swapping assets, opening a position, closing a position or withdrawing funds. The authenticity of every transaction can be verified in the public transaction ledger.

  • Every user has their own separate on-chain address
  • Funds are never mixed with other users’ money
  • The platform has no direct access to your wallet without your permission
  • The authenticity of every transaction can be verified in the public transaction ledger
  • The wallet belongs to you: Smart DeFi helps you manage the funds, but direct access always stays with you
In DeFi since 2021

We hold our own capital in the same pools we offer you

The team has been working in DeFi since 2021 and builds tools for it — for Uniswap, Raydium, Orca, Aerodrome and other protocols on Ethereum, Base and Solana. On the platform you’ll find the same strategies our own capital runs in.

For those who want more detail

The wallets run on Privy infrastructure — a key-management solution that crypto apps use for secure storage and access recovery.

The private key is not stored on the Smart DeFi side. The platform helps create the wallet, show the balance, prepare transactions and maintain the strategy, but the operations themselves happen on-chain and can be verified independently.

You can export the private key with an extra security confirmation and import it into Phantom or MetaMask. That means you’re not locked into the Smart DeFi interface: even if you decide to manage the funds directly, you keep full access to your wallet.

FAQ

The essentials, briefly

Is it safe? Who holds my money?

A separate on-chain wallet is created for you through Privy infrastructure, and every deposit arrives directly at your address — funds never land in a shared platform account and are never mixed with other users’ money. The platform doesn’t see or store your private key: it helps you open a position and run the strategy, but every operation with the capital happens through transparent on-chain transactions, verifiable in a blockchain explorer. At any moment you can export the key and manage the funds directly through Phantom or MetaMask.

What are the risks? Can I lose capital?

Yes, you can — yield is not guaranteed. Price movement of the pair: if the price of the tokens in the pool changes sharply, the position can be worth less than if you had simply held those tokens, and pool fees don’t always make up for it. A concrete example: if SOL drops 30%, a $10,000 position in a SOL/USDC pool would be worth roughly $7,800–8,400 — the USDC share and accrued fees cushion part of the fall (for comparison, $10,000 simply in SOL would become $7,000); the flip side is that when SOL rises, the position grows less than the token itself. Protocol risk: we work only with the largest, vetted protocols (Uniswap, Orca, Aerodrome), but the risk of a smart-contract vulnerability is never zero. Before opening each position you see a risk level on a scale and a description of what could go wrong.

How much does it cost? What are the fees?

The platform fee is 20% of the pool fees collected — that is, only on what you earn. We take nothing from the principal. Deposits, top-ups and withdrawals are 0%.

How do I fund my account? Do I need to already own crypto?

You fund it by transferring crypto (USDC, USDT, SOL, ETH, cbBTC) from an exchange or another wallet to your Smart DeFi wallet. If you don’t have crypto yet, the easiest path is to buy USDC on a major exchange and transfer it — the interface has a step-by-step guide. We plan to add buying directly with a card after launch.

How much money do I need to start?

There’s no minimum entry threshold. You can start with an amount you’re comfortable with and grow your capital gradually.

Do I need to understand crypto?

No. All the technical complexity — protocols, pools, gas, on-chain operations — is handled by the platform. It’s enough to choose a strategy and track the result.

What happens to my money if the platform stops working?

Your funds don’t depend on Smart DeFi continuing to exist. Positions live in public DeFi protocols (Uniswap, Orca, Aerodrome), not on the platform’s servers, and the wallet belongs to you. Even if the platform stops working, you keep access to the wallet and can close positions and withdraw funds directly through the protocols.

Can the platform block or freeze my funds?

No. The capital sits in your own wallet, and the platform doesn’t see or store the private key — so we technically cannot block, freeze or move your funds. At any moment you can close positions and withdraw, or export the key and manage the wallet directly through Phantom or MetaMask.

How do I withdraw money?

At any time, with no lockups or penalties. You close the position from the interface and the funds return to your wallet — usually within minutes. From there you withdraw to your address: an exchange or another wallet.
